Front Desk · for walk-in shops
When you can't get to the phone, Front Desk does.
A customer calls while both your hands are on a client. Front Desk answers in your shop's name, takes the booking or the message, and catches the call you would have missed. It's AI answering, and it tells every caller so.
There's no public number to cold-call yet. The line answers as your shop, so we set it up with you first — with a straight quote before anything starts.
Example call
It never confirms the time itself. It takes the request and your shop follows up. That promise is the product.
What it actually does
The whole job, and nothing it can't do.
Four things, done well, said honestly. No calendar it doesn't have, no prices it can't quote.
Answers every call
Picks up in your shop's name by the time your voicemail would have. No hold music, no phone tree, no missed ring.
Books appointments
Takes the service, the day and time they want, and who they usually see. It captures the booking for you to confirm.
Takes orders and messages
A pickup status, an order number, or a message for you or your staff. It gets the name and the details and writes it down.
Never invents
It can't see your live schedule, prices, or order system, so it never makes them up. It collects the request and tells the caller you'll follow up to confirm.
Disclosure, out loud
“Your shop's name. Recorded and AI assisted.”
That's the first thing every caller hears. The whole category hides the AI or dresses it up as a person. We say it out loud, before anything else. That's a choice, and it's the feature. If a caller asks, it tells them plainly it helps answer calls for your shop.
When it can't help
It hands the hard calls to a real person.
It writes it down, you follow up
When a caller needs your prices, your calendar, or a judgment call, Front Desk doesn't guess. It captures exactly what they need and tells them someone from your shop will call or text back to confirm.
A real emergency goes to 911
If a caller describes something life-threatening, a fire, a gas smell, a medical emergency, Front Desk tells them to hang up and call 911. It doesn't try to handle it.
This is the actual wording Front Desk texts back after a call. Your shop's name and the caller's first name fill in automatically.
Who it's for
Shops where the owner is the one working.
If the person who'd answer the phone has their hands full, Front Desk is for you. Five kinds of shop, one line that picks up.
Salons
A client's in the chair and the phone rings. Front Desk books the next cut and takes the walk-in's number, so the call doesn't book the shop down the block instead.
Barbershops
You can't stop mid-fade to grab the phone. It holds the chair time, takes the booking, and passes you the message when you're between clients.
Cleaners
Someone wants a ticket status or a same-day turnaround while you're at the counter. It takes their name and ticket number and gets it to you.
Tailors
A bride calls about an alteration while you're at the machine. Front Desk quotes nothing it can't, takes her details and the request, and you follow up on the fitting and the deposit.
Wellness studios and spas
Massage or acupuncture, your hands full mid-treatment. A missed call is a missed session, and the slot doesn't fill itself. It answers and captures the booking so it doesn't sit empty.
Plugs into what you already run
It sits on top of the shop you already run.
Front Desk answers the phone. It doesn't ask you to switch booking apps, buy a new register, or learn a system. It works alongside whatever you already use.
Your calendar and booking
Run on Booksy, Squire, Vagaro, Google Calendar, or a paper book by the register? Front Desk takes the booking request and hands it to you clean, so it lands wherever you already keep the day. You confirm. Nothing books itself, and it doesn't write into any of them today.
Your register and tools
Clover, Square, Mindbody, CleanCloud, Jane, or something you built yourself. Front Desk works alongside it. It doesn't read from or write into your register today; it just tells you what the caller needs so you can enter it yourself.
These are examples of what shops already run Front Desk alongside. It doesn't integrate with any of them today, and we won't imply it does. It's early, and you'd set it up directly with me — Daniel, who built it.
Why it matters
A missed call is usually a booking that walked to the next shop. Industry data from Zenoti puts unanswered salon calls near 37 percent, most of them during business hours, and 80 to 85 percent of voicemail-only callers never call back. Front Desk is the piece that answers.
Figures are directional industry estimates from Zenoti, not CallPro results. There are no customers to measure yet, and we won't pretend otherwise.
How a demo works
You hear it answer as your shop.
There's no public number to cold-call, because the line answers as your business, not a generic demo. So we set it up together first. It takes a few minutes.
Step 1
Tell me about your shop
Email me your shop's name and what you do. That's the whole ask to start.
Step 2
I tailor the line
I set Front Desk to answer in your shop's name and the way you actually take calls.
Step 3
We call it together
You call the line and hear it answer as your shop, book a request, and text it back. Live, with me on the phone.
What it costs
Priced straight.
Front Desk is paid: a one-time setup and a small flat monthly. You hear the exact number, straight, before anything starts — no card on file, nothing that can auto-charge you. You'd talk to me directly, not a sales team. See the pricing page for exactly what that means.
Front Desk questions
What shop owners ask first.
Does it sound like a robot?
Right now a missed call is either your hands staying on the client while it rings out, or a voicemail almost nobody leaves. Front Desk answers in your shop's name instead, and it says out loud that it's AI before anything else.
What if it can't answer something?
It never guesses. It writes down exactly what the caller needs and tells them you'll call or text back to confirm. A real emergency gets sent to 911.
Does it book into my calendar?
Not yet. It captures the booking request, the service, the day, the time, and hands it to you to confirm. It doesn't write into your booking software today, and we won't imply it does.

Will my customers hate it?
Most people prefer a warm voice that answers to a voicemail that doesn't. It picks up in your shop's name, says up front it's AI assisted, and takes their request instead of asking them to call back.
Is it really that early?
Yes, and we say so plainly. Front Desk is live and answering, with no paying shops yet. You'd be one of the first, working with the person who builds it.
Does it work with my booking app or register?
Front Desk answers the phone and hands you the booking or the message. Run on Booksy, Squire, Vagaro, Mindbody, CleanCloud, Clover, Square, Jane, or something custom? It works alongside whatever you already use. It doesn't read from or write into any of them today, and we won't imply it does. Tell us what you run so the handoff matches your day.
If you keep missing calls mid-service, let's fix that.
Front Desk is early, and I'm building it in the open, one shop at a time. Email me and I'll show you what it sounds like answering your line.
